. Il est important pour nous de savoir avant 12h le jour de votre arrivée si vous dinez à notre table d’hôtes afin de garantir la qualité et la fraicheur des mets.

We stayed here for a few nights on an organised tour so don't know if it was good value or not, but suspect it is very good value for money.... read more The hosts couldn't do enough for us, and it was so refreshing to have the swimming pool on hand after touring around. Lots of places to visit from here. The meals were superb - served outdoors at a big table with all the guests - 22 at least at the table, so lots of new people to meet and interesting conversations to be had. It is a Chambre D'Hote and the hosts gave a wonderful introductory talk about where the food and wine for each course came from in both English and French.

My husband and I just had to return for this experience once again, this time for 8 nights. Both hosts speak English so communication among all is easily achieved.
Gilles is a trained chef and his cooking is to die for....
Rooms are very comfortable and the outside sitting area quite pleasant for a relaxing aperitif before dinner. Dinners and breakfasts are copious, delicious and good value.
The B&B is set back in a quiet setting of a vineyard- but also very accessible to a main road which makes it perfect for exploring a huge area of Provence: the numerous villages titled "the most beautiful villages of France", among them Gordes & Rousillon just next door and many others within a ½ hr drive. In about an hour one can reach Les Baux de Provence and the Carrières de Lumières, the Roman Theater & Arch in Orange, Aix-en-Provence, Château de Tarascon, Beaucaire, Abbaye de Montmajour, etc.

The pool was welcoming and clean.
One of our rooms was lovely with plenty of room while the other was a little on the small side. they were both clean and welcoming.
We booked the Table D'Hote for the evening we stayed and had a wonderful meal. i would thoroughly recommend doing this. Despite being the only English people of the 24 or so for the meal we were made to feel welcomed.
The food was great and was all local. A beautiful green bean and tomato salad followed by a rich veal stew, some wonderful cheeses and a creme brulee. This was accompanied by jugs of rose and red wine. All served outside under a lovely canopy.
Breakfast the next day with all the homemade jams was also really good.
The beds were comfortable and we all slept well in the countryside.

Comme vous le constaterez d’après la carte, le Moulin de Lavon est idéalement situé car au milieu des hauts lieux naturels et touristiques du massif du Luberon.
Vous n’aurez que très peu de km à faire pour arriver au départ des randonnées diverses et visites touristiques autres que sportives
Nous vous assisterons au mieux pour organiser vos journées, nous pouvons vous prêter des cartes touristiques, des topos de randonnées, toute une documentation sur les curiosités provençales.
